Taste for Music – Chipotle: The next Taste for Music will be held at the Chipotle on Union Centre this Friday, May 30th from 2:00pm until 6:00pm. The timing should be good for students getting out of school around 2:00pm, rookie marchers and leadership team who finish at 5:00pm, as well as, families for dinner before 6:00pm. The Upbeat Club will receive 50% of proceeds from this fundraiser, so please drop by Chipotle on Union Centre between 2:00pm and 6:00pm and present the fundraising flyer to support the Lakota West marching band, concert band, jazz band, color guard and winter guard programs.

Please print your fundraiser flyer on white paper and share the flyer with your friends, family and neighbors, but do NOT pass out any flyers out to customers in line at the restaurant or in the parking lot at any time. Supporters can show Chipotle the flyer, verbally communicate to the cashier that they are supporting the fundraiser or you can show the flyer on a mobile device.
Volunteer Needs – Activity Chair Openings: We are still in need of volunteers to fill several activity chair positions due to empty slots or one or more parents “aging out” with their last student. Senior Band Awards Night: Congratulations to all the Seniors who participated in the annual Band Awards Night last Thursday and shared their achievements.
