- Monday, September 15 – Payment 3 ($300) due for Rose Parade trip AND Marching Band fees MUST be paid to district in full or students will not march. Please allow a couple of days for processing!

Split the Pot Volunteers Needed! Our first home football game is this Friday, September 12 – and with it comes the fun of selling Split the Pot tickets! Roam the crowd and the stands until half time, sell tickets, and help the band! Click HERE to sign up for Friday’s game – or all the home games! Thanks for a great Tag Day! Thanks to all drivers, support staff, and students who turned out for Tag Day! The rain held off, and we had our second best totals at end of day ever despite running short of students to cover 4 routes. Winners of the section competition for best Tag Day participation will be announced this next week and will have a pizza celebration prior to our home game on September 26.
Photo Request! A special request has been received to see if any of the band parents or students have any photos (other than those already posted to Flickr) from marching band, band camp, competitions, events, trips, concerts, etc. for the past several years with Mr. Snyder in them. If so, please submit a copy to web@lakotawestbands.org. Something special is in the works!
Alumni Homecoming Weekend Many special events are being planned for Alumni Homecoming Weekend on October 17-19, 2014. On Friday, block out the whole afternoon for a music and marching rehearsal with West’s band, a reunion dinner with all of your Thunderbird and Firebird friends and an evening marching performance with the Marching Firebirds at the Homecoming game. On Saturday, bring your whole family to Niederman Family Farm for an evening celebrating the fall with your fellow band alums! Then on Sunday, bring the whole family and support the Lakota West Marching Firebirds trip to Pasadena while dining at the Uno Dough Raiser at Uno Pizzeria and Grill.
