Band Camp Time Change:

Students were notified on Thursday that as a result of all their hard work this week and late night at pool party that Band Camp will start at 8:00am on Friday, July 31, 2015.

Band Camp Help Needed:

Assistance is needed to move equipment from the Freshman school to the main campus on Friday following the closing ceremonies. Please CLICK HERE if you are able to help.

Pizza Tailgate and Marching Firebirds performance:

1)      All  band families are invited to the pizza tailgate on Friday, July 31 at 6pm.   Pizza and beverage provided by the Lakota West Upbeat Club.  The Marching Firebirds will perform at 7pm at LW Freshman School stadium.

2)      You will have the opportunity to buy/order Marching Firebird spirit wear during the tailgate and after the performance.  Bring your cash, check, or charge card.  We will have the traditional proud parent and grandparent t-shirts, Marching Firebird stadium seats and blankets, pajama pants, men and women’s polo shirts, sweatshirts, and fleece, athletic shorts, cinch sacks, sunglasses and more!  Samples will be available for most items that are order only. 3)      Information on volunteer opportunities and ways to support the band will also be available.  Find out about:

  1. Helping serve 3rd quarter refreshments to the band during football games
  2. Driving for Tag Day
  3. Working on the Pit Crew
  4. Being part of the Video/DVD Crew
  5. Signing your Kroger card up to help support the band
  6. Becoming a band photographer
  7. Helping with uniforms
  8. Open leadership opportunities

Split the Pot Volunteers:
We are in need of volunteers for each home game that would be willing to sell Split-the-Pot tickets. Tickets are only sold up until half-time, so you will not miss the awesome band performances!

This is a really easy way for our band to raise money!! Please CLICK HERE  to sign-up for any game that you would be willing to help. We will meet at the far end of the stadium, inside the field gate and just behind the paramedics/squad beginning at 6:15.
