Volunteer Requests

Our band is powered by scores of band dads and moms who loan their time and talents to help our students succeed on and off the performance field. Please consider helping with one or more of these volunteer needs:

  • Interested in helping with our spirit wear efforts? We need one or two freshmen or sophomore band parents to shadow senior mom and current spirit wear coordinator Rachel Butler — this in preparation for handling the band’s spirit wear coordination needs next year. To learn more about this role, email Rachel Butler.
  • Sign up to become part of our pool of bus chaperones for marching band competitions and special events.
  • Tag Day — our biggest fundraiser of the year — is Saturday morning, September 10. It’s an all-hands-on-deck effort! We need two volunteers willing to shadow the Tag Day ’16 Co-Chairs to see how it’s done and commit to Co-Chairing Tag. Please e-mail Dawn DiLorenzo if you’d like to learn more about this important role. A sign-up link for volunteers to drive students and serve a variety of other duties will be distributed soon.

Thirty-One Fundraiser

Take care of your gift-giving needs — purses, wallets, totes, home organization items and much more — by purchasing through our Thirty-One fundraiser. The top seller in each class will win $40 in credit to shop from the catalog. Also, among those who sell more than $150 in products, two wild card winners will be named.

To place an order, go to www.mythirtyone.com/sferencak, click on My Scheduled Parties and select your student’s class. Make sure you enter your student’s name in Address 2 to get credit for the sale at prize determination time.

Keep in mind that for every $35 you spend you are eligible to purchase one of the three customer special items at half price!

One of the things that makes Thirty-One special is that you can personalize most of the products. You can specify that your order be shipped to the consultant (Susan Ferencak) for the standard shipping cost, or have it shipped directly to you (or anyone else) for an additional $4.

Please share this shopping link with everyone. The more we sell, the more we make!

Thirty-One consultant Susan Ferencak will be on hand at the Band Camp Closing Ceremony to answer any questions you may have. Meanwhile, feel free to check out the online catalog, email Susan or call her: 513-505-5321.
