Spiritwear

T-Shirt for Orlando trip – go to link to order. All orders need to be completed online by end of day on Monday 12/11.

Note, both the jacket and the T-shirt will be at cost, these are not set up as a fund-raiser.

Swing Dance is Friday December 8

The Lakota West Swing Dance is Friday from 7:30- 10pm!! To make this a special night we need volunteers. Jazz parents (Concert Band parents are also encouraged) are kindly requested to take a shift. Many roles are needed including set up/decorate, sell tickets, coat check, serve snacks, or tear down/clean up. Most shifts are 1-2 hours so there is plenty of time to enjoy the entertainment before/after your shift. You will not miss your child playing. Whether your child is in jazz or not, please consider taking a shift at this fabulous event! Sign up link is here. Holiday Concerts

High School Holiday Concert with Concert Band, Symphonic Band and Symphonic Winds is Monday 12/11 at Main Campus Theater starting at 7pm.
Freshman School Holiday Concert with two Freshman Bands is Tuesday 12/12 at the Freshman School starting at 7pm.

Upbeat Club

Next meeting is in January. Join us on Thursday 1/18 at 6:30pm for an update from the Directors’, then the Upbeat Meeting at 7pm. Lots of fun events coming up like Try Band and Solo & Ensemble. Find out more information and where you can assist.

Disney World Parade/Orlando Trip

Updated Info on Orlando Trip Web Page – check back often as items are updated and added as they are finalized
Parent meeting for trip is 12/18 at 6pm, main campus. Travel Consultant will be attending. Students are welcome to attend.

Thursday 1/18 – Upbeat Meeting at main campus starting at 6:30pm with Directors Update
Saturday 1/20 – OMEA Solo & Ensemble Contest for grades 9-12 at West High School (8am – 5pm)
Saturday 1/27 – Try Band for all West 5th or 6th graders in the morning at West Freshman School (Symphonic Winds students are needed appx 9am-1pm)
