Barb Kenworthy - clarinet

Teaches in her West Chester home.


Barb Kenworthy graduated from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor of Music Education Degree. She has studied clarinet with Richard Porotsky and Carmine Campione, both of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.


She plays and performs regularly with the Seven Hills Sinfonietta, the Southwest Ohio Symphonic Band, and the Ohio Metropolitan Theatre Orchestra in many musical theater productions. She is assistant director of the OMTO and has conducted the orchestra as well.


She is an experienced private teacher of beginner to advanced students and has a true passion for teaching. Her students achieve high levels of performance and top seats in their school band programs, in various honor bands, in the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra, and in the Cincinnati Youth Wind Ensemble. They also achieve top ratings at solo and ensemble contest every year.
