How to Make Band Camp and Trip Payments in Charms

Now you have the option to make band camp and trip payments directly from your Finances page in Charms using your credit card or PayPal account. When you make payments through Charms, your account is automatically updated (you don’t have to wait for the manual posting).

Make band camp and trip payments in Charms. After you have logged in to Charms, go to your “Finances” page. Then, check your “Trip Ledger Detail” to verify that “Band Camp” or the appropriate trip is listed in the ledger. (If it does not appear in the ledger, then you have not yet been registered. You must pay the initial registration deposit in the Finances section of the Lakota West Bands web site. You can make subsequent payments in Charms). Click the “Make Trip Payment ” button.

You should now see the “Trip Payment” screen below. Fill in the required fields. Be sure to select the appropriate trip from the drop-down menu, and click the “Pay” button. You will then be taken to the PayPal system where you can complete your credit card or PayPal payment.

IMPORTANT! After completing your payment in PayPal be sure to click the “Return to Merchant” or “Continue” button to record your payment in the Charms system. If you forget to do this and your payment is not reflected in Charms, contact accounts@lakotawestbands.org with your payment information.
