Freshman Band Registration

Freshmen, welcome to the Lakota West Bands! There are four important steps to follow as you start the new school year:

  1. Order and pay for your band t-shirt to be worn at Tag Day on September 7, 2013 and at the Freshman Night game on September 6, 2013. The cost is $7.00 and should be paid online by credit card or PayPal account. Shirts will be delivered at school.
  2. Subscribe to our latest band announcements by Email, Twitter, or RSS feed.
  3. Complete the Lakota West Bands registration form so that your Charms account can be activated. Charms is our band management system where students and parents can access payment information, student fundraising account balances, and band music uploads. If you already have a Charms account (because you’re a Color Guard member or because an older sibling transferred an account balance to you), please skip to the next step.
  4. Access your Charms account and make sure all of your student and parent contact information is correct.  Note: allow 7 days for your account to be activated after completing the registration form.

Step 3 – Complete the Online Band Registration Form

Please fill out the form as completely as possible. Required fields indicated by *

  • Please complete information for parents below. If there is just one parent or guardian, complete the information for the Mother/Adult 1. You'll be able to change the relationship status in Charms, our band management system, after you receive login information.
  • Enter Address if different than Student's Address.

  • Enter Address if different than Student's Address.

Step 4 – Access and Review Your Charms Account

Please make sure all of your student and parent contact information is correct in Charms. Note: allow 7 days for your account to be activated after completing the registration form.

Access Charms by clicking on the Charms logo below or in the left column of this website.

Log in to Charms Music Office

  • You will first be required to enter your school code: lakotawestbands (all one word and this one never changes.)
  • You will next need to enter your student’s password. The default password consists of the first 4 letters of the student’s last name combined with the first 2 letters of the first name (for example – Barney Bandmember is bandba)  For security purposes, you should change this password to something known only by you once logged on.
