Symphonic Winds Featured at the 2011 Midwest Clinic!

Congratulations to the Lakota West Symphonic Winds on their performance at the 65th Annual Midwest Clinic, the international band and orchestra conference. They were one of five high school bands to be featured at this prestigious event. The performance was at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago on Friday, December 16. This was the third invitation for Symphonic Winds and by performing this past week they made Ohio history! [More Information]

Symphonic Winds – NKU Concert

The Lakota West Symphonic Winds held their first of 4 pre-Midwest Clinic concerts at Norther Kentucky University (NKU) on December 1st. The students were able to enjoy the NKU Symphonic Winds performance before taking the stage and performing their complete Midwest Clinic performance for the first time. If you were unable to attend the performance on the 1st, it is not too late. The Symphonic Winds will be performing at Miami University in Oxford on Wednesday the 7th, at Ohio State University in Columbus on the 9th and finally on Monday the 12th at Lakota West before they head off to Chicago for their performance at the 2011 Midwest Clinic on December 16th.
