Band Announcements:
1. Awesome week-end! Congrats to the State Bound Grand Champion Marching Firebirds!!!!!
2. Fall Concert for Red, White, and Winds on October 14 at 7:00. Make sure your concert uniform is ready!!
3. The All-State instrumentalists were recently named. To be named in the All-State Ensembles is a great honor for our students. A big congratulations to our All-State instrumentalists:
Emily Aaron, Katie Carson, Alec Drach, Jenna Eagle, Charley Gately, Nick Harvey, Erik Ellison, Spencer Merk, Evelyn Profitt, Jay Pullyblank, Melanie Rampton, Michael Siegert, James Smith, and John Trygier.
4. Marching Band News:
A Regular rehearsals this week. Animal crackers at tonight’s conclusion!!!!!!!!!!
B. Senior Night on Friday. Parents please meet near our end zone with 2:00 to go in the 2nd quarter. Game tickets will be issued for all senior parents on Wednesday.
C. Cookies from Flutes and Baritones on Friday!
D. Meet at Freshman School(Due to Arts and Craft Show at West) on Saturday at 2:45. Bring dinner or have delivered at 4:30. Depart at 5:30 and perform at 8:15. Should return around 10:30.
E. Next week is OSU!! We will rehearse in the stadium on Friday, October 10 from 3:00 till 5:30. OSU meet time is 2:45, perform at 7:45 and return around 11:30.
F. Homecoming on October 17. Encourage alumni to sign-up and be a part of the festivities!!!!!!!
