Disney World Parade/Orlando Trip
Important Notes:
- Updated Info on Orlando Trip Web Page – check back often as items are updated and added as they are finalized
- Meeting for parents and students travelling is 12/18 at 6pm, main campus. Travel Consultant will be attending. Tour booklet will be available for pickup.
- Medication Procedure
- ALL medications must be turned into the nurse for Chaperones to dispense. Even Over The Counter medicines.
- Medication letter with directions, forms and drop off process. Please read carefully. Meds must be brought as described in letter, and in a ziploc bag with student’s name.
- Medication MUST be dropped off to West Nurse no later than the parent meeting on 12/18. No exceptions as staff is on break starting 12/20. Nurse Robin will be at West to accept medications in the band room starting at 5:30pm on 12/18. IF YOU CANNOT MAKE MEETING you must contact her for an EARLIER drop off time. email is robin.robinson@lakotaonline.com.

- Monday 12/18 – Medications and forms drop-off to nurse at west band room starting at 5:30pm
- Monday 12/18 – Orlando Trip Parent meeting at 6pm, main campus theater
- Tuesday 12/19 – parade practice from 1:15pm – 4pm
- Thursday 12/28 – Depart for Disney World New Year’s Eve Parade Trip! Appx departure time is 11am.
- Tuesday 1/2/18 – Return from Disney Orlando trip. Appx return time is 3:30pm.
- Thursday 1/18 – Upbeat Meeting at main campus starting at 6:30pm with Directors Update
- Saturday 1/20 – OMEA Solo & Ensemble Contest for grades 9-12 at West High School (8am – 5pm) – big volunteer day, and lots of music to enjoy!
- Saturday 1/27 – Try Band for all West 5th or 6th graders in the morning at West Freshman School (Symphonic Winds students are needed appx 9am-1pm). Help spread the word to our West families with younger kids! Flyer
