Jazz ‘n Cakes – March 30

Lakota West’s 22nd annual Jazz ‘n Cakes is Saturday, March 30th from 8 am – noon at the Lakota West Main Campus. This fun family event, sponsored by the Lakota West Upbeat Club, features live jazz music performed by our students and an all-you-can-eat pancake, eggs and sausage breakfast. Proceeds support ALL Lakota West Bands, Colorguard, and Winterguard, as well as the Dan Kenworthy and Bill Weatherwax Memorial Scholarship Fund.

We ask that all band students help to support this event by either purchasing or selling 5 tickets. Tickets are $7 each, and children under 3 are free. Each student’s 5 tickets will be distributed at the main campus concert on March 4th and the freshman concert on March 5th.  Bonus – If you purchase all 5 tickets on the night of the concert, you will receive one additional free ticket! Checks, cash or credit card payments will be accepted.  If you take the tickets at the concert, you can pay for them with a check made out to Lakota West Upbeat Club sent to school with your child. Any additional payments and unsold tickets should be returned to Mr. Carr or Mr. Racic no later than Friday, March 15th due to spring break.

Sponsorships – New this year!
The Lakota West Upbeat Club would like to invite area businesses to participate in a brand new sponsorship program for Lakota West Bands. Sponsorship levels begin at just $200 and offer benefits from t-shirts and event tickets to having your logo displayed on the Lakota West truck wrap.
