CCM Prep Youth Jazz Orchestras (CYJO I & II)

These two ensembles are jazz big bands, with instrumentation just like the big bands in Lakota. Both ensembles are open to students in grades 9-12 from all over the Greater Cincinnati region. CCM Prep Jazz Explosion (2 Ensembles)

CCM Prep Jazz Experience

This big band is open to students in grades 9-12. Rehearsals are held at the University of Cincinnati.

OMEA District 13 Honor Jazz Band

This regional all-star ensemble is formed by auditions and made up of a select group of musicians. All Lakota high school jazz students are encouraged to audition. Details regarding auditions and the ensemble will be given out annually in November. Auditions are in early December.


OMEA All-State Jazz Ensemble

This all-star jazz ensemble is open to all Ohio high school students. Auditions are by CD only. CDs are to be made in May and mailed by the late-May deadline. Audition information will be sent out in April each year.
