This is a new event for West Chester and for the Lakota West band. It is a 5K run to benefit Reach Out Lakota. The first 500 runners >12 yrs old to register will receive a Santa suit to run in, under 12 yrs old will receive a special T-shirt. This is also a pet friendly event. The race starts at 11am at the fountain by the Rave (streets of West Chester), ends in the same area, and stays on that side of I-75.
For a contribution from event organizers, winds and/or jazz ensembles will play holiday music from ~10:30-11am and 11:30-12noon. The other thing we’ll be doing as a fundraiser at this event is offering a “concession shack” with (hot) drinks and snacks for sale.
