Register and Use your Kroger Plus Card

This is a reminder that if you have not yet registered your Kroger Plus Card to raise money for the Lakota West Bands, please see the directions here to do so.  (CLICK HERE for directions to register your Kroger Plus Card)

This is by far the easiest fundraiser for the bands.  Simply by shopping at Kroger and using your Kroger Plus Card when you check out, you can raise money for the bands.  But your Kroger Plus card must be “linked” to the Lakota West Upbeat Club in order to do so.  The directions above show you how to “link” your Kroger Plus Card to the Lakota West Upbeat Club.  This does not cost anything and it does not affect any of your Plus Card earnings or fuel points.  Every time you use your “linked” Kroger Plus Card at checkout, your total spent will be tallied and added up on a quarterly basis along with all other Upbeat Club “linked” Kroger Plus Cards.  Kroger sends the Upbeat Club a check each quarter based on this total.

Beginning in May 2013, Kroger will DECREASE the amount of money they disburse in this Community Rewards Program by 1 million dollars.  That means there will be fewer funds to divvy up between all the Non-Profit agencies (Lakota West Upbeat Club being one of them) that Kroger distributes money to through the Community Rewards Program.  Now more than ever, it’s important that all Lakota West Band families/friends register their Kroger Plus cards so that we can get as much money through this program as possible.  The non-profit agency with the largest amount of money “linked” to their agency will get the biggest piece of the quarterly $1 million disbursement. ALL CARDS currently registered will need to be re registered in April 2013 in order for the band to continue receiving credit in the next program year.

If you have any questions about the program, please contact Kroger@lakotawestbands.org

Thank you for your continued support.
