UNOs Dough Raiser — Thanks to everyone that sold tickets, came out to eat, entertained by playing, and volunteered to make this a spectacular event!  The restaurant was full nearly the entire day and had “waiting times” during a few extra busy periods.  A great time was had by all.  The numbers are still being added up, but this was a great fund raiser for the band.  Extra special thanks to Becky and Todd Wilber, owners of UNOs, for providing this opportunity to the Lakota West Bands!

MACYS TRIP INFO —

  • UNIFORM PACKING FOR MACY’S — CLICK HERE for instructions on uniform packing and turn in for the Macy’s trip.  Instructions have changed slightly so please print and re read.  Turn in is this week:  Tues/Woodwinds, Wed/Brass, Thur/Color Guard/Percussion/FC.  CLICK HERE to sign up if you are able to help with uniform turn in.  Please email Cindy Schubart at caschubart@hotmail.com  if you are able to help with washing a bag of (12) parkas at home.

November Scrip orders due noon Tuesday 11/12 –  Don’t forget to get your Scrip orders in this month.  For a copy of the order form and complete details concerning the SCRIP program CLICK HERE.  The deadline for orders this month is November 9, 2013  if you mail your order, and noon November 12th if you drop it off.  CLICK HERE for holiday ideas for Scrip cards as gifts.

Upbeat Club Meeting:  our next meeting is 11/19 at 7:30pm in the band room. We meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month. We are a parent volunteer group that supports all band activities. If you have a student in any band grades 7-12 you are a member. Come and learn more about what we do and how to get involved.
