By now, I hope your children have relayed the information about the OMEA District XIII Large Group Adjudicated Event on Saturday, March 15, 2014 for the Freshman Bands. The 2nd Period Band plays at 8:00 am, their report time is 7:00 am. The 2nd Period Band should be finished around 9:00 am. The 1st Period Band plays at 10:15 am, their report time is 9:15 am. They should be finished around 11:15 am. Our ratings will be posted shortly after we finish the sight reading component of the evaluation. This event is the annual adjudication for the band. It is similar to the OAA and OGT that the students have taken in Junior and Senior High School and is out most important performance of the year. We will be evaluated and rated by a panel of 4 judges (three in concert performance and 1 in sight reading). In preparation for this evaluation, the Freshman Bands will be performing at the West Freshman School on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Lakota West Freshman School.
