Graduation Band Announcement: For all students participating in Graduation Band on Saturday – Loading begins at 7:30 am. Percussionists need to be there to assist with loading. The buses are leaving school promptly at 8:15 am, earlier if possible. We must be in our seats ready to play at 9:30 am. We hope to be back at Lakota West by 12:45-1:00 pm. After we return, the band is NOT going to Graeter’s for ice cream. Sorry for any confusion on that.
Additional information regarding billing/payments for the Rose Parade trip: Several families have asked about the “land only” package and how this will impact billing by the District. At the present time, we do not have a final price for the Rose Parade trip. This is due to the inability to lock in airfares this far out from the travel date. Until we can lock in the cost of airfare, we cannot finalize the cost of the trip. Accordingly, we cannot establish the cost of the “land only” package. Further, at this point in time, we do not know which students intend on taking advantage of the “land only” package.
There will be a “land only” package. As soon as we can determine the final cost of the trip including airfare, the cost of the “land only” package will be announced. The District is going to bill all the student accounts who have paid the Rose Parade trip deposits a total of $1550 ($50 deposit, and five (5) monthly charges of $300 each). The Rose Parade trip deposit that has been paid will be credited against this total leaving a balance of $1500 (please recall the final billing will be adjusted in December to reflect the actual cost of the trip. $1500 is not the cost of the trip). Once the “land only” package is finalized and we have the list of those students who are only paying for the “land only” package, credit adjustments will be made to their accounts.

Please print your fundraiser flyer on white paper and share the flyer with your friends, family and neighbors, but do NOT pass out any flyers out to customers in line at the restaurant or in the parking lot at any time. Supporters can show Chipotle the flyer, verbally communicate to the cashier that they are supporting the fundraiser or you can show the flyer on a mobile device.
