- Tuesday, October 14: Red, White, and Winds Fall Concert – 7pm at LW Auditorium
- Wednesday, October 15: MB Students: Meeting at 5:30pm immediately after MB practice for all students who want to work at the Haunted House on October 24 and 25.
- Wednesday, October 15: Student Trip payment #4 of $300 due via EZ Pay or to LW Bursar
- Thursday, October 16: NO SILVERS – practice after school. TURN IN DOUGH RAISER TICKET SALESTO LW UPBEAT PARENT VOLUNTEER AT END OF REHEARSAL!
- Friday, October 17: Homecoming Game against Mason with Alumni Band and Dinner! Thanks to all who volunteered!
- Sunday, October 19: Uno’s Dough Raiser at Uno’s Chicago Grill
- Tuesday, October 21: Freshman Band Fall Concert – 7pm at LW Freshman school auditorium with October LW Upbeat Club Meeting immediately following starting approximately 8-8:15pm
- Friday, October 24: “The Haunting of Old Union School” – MB Rose Parade® Fundraiser 7pm-11pm. $7/adult,$5/student at the door. Come with friends, or volunteer!
- Saturday, October 25: Shawnee Competition – Performance time is 7:00pm/
- Saturday, October 25: “The Haunting of Old Union School” – MB Rose Parade® Fundraiser 8pm-midnight. $7/adult,$5/student at the door. Come with friends, or volunteer!
- Sunday, October 26: “A Taste for Music” fundraiser at City BBQ at VOA from 11:00am – 9:00pm (more info and flyer will be posted to website soon!)
Uno’s Dough Raiser: URGENT NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS!
- WE NEED YOU ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19! Thanks to all who have signed up to work the Dough Raiser – however, we still need more help! We are now at 85 signed up and still need 56 more volunteer slots filled. SERVERS especially are needed. Please CLICK HERE to sign up.
- Please turn in your money/unsold tickets by Thursday, October 16 – there will be a band parent there to receive them at the end of practice. Please do not give to directors.
50/50 Raffle: Thank you to the many families who picked up 50/50 Raffle tickets to sell at last week’s Rose Parade meeting. We are on our way to raising $10,000 to help lower the trip cost for all students.
We will be available at the Tuesday evening concert – both before and after the concert. You can:
– turn in sold raffle tickets and money
– pick up raffle tickets to sell
– purchase raffle tickets on the spot.
The first Early Bird drawing is coming up on Sunday, October 19, at the UNO’s Doughraiser. Someone will win a $250 prize ….. will it be you or someone you know?
