Lakota West Bands

For the calendar:

  • Monday, December 15:  Rose Parade Luggage drop-off
  • Monday, December 15:  Final Rose Parade payment due to LW Bursar or through EZ Pay
  • Monday, December 15:  Red, White, & Winds Holiday Concert & 50/50 Raffle drawing
  • Tuesday, December 16:  Rose Parade Instrument Loading
  • Tuesday, December 16:  Freshman Holiday Concert

 

LUGGAGE DROP-OFF FOR ROSE TODAY, DECEMBER 15!:  All Rose Parade trip luggage to be dropped off and checked in back by the band room at Lakota West between 2:30pm and 5:30pm for shipment.  Leadership team members and some band parents will be available to help you get your luggage checked in and to load. We will not be checking ANY bags at the airport.

 

INSTRUMENTS LOADED TUESDAY, DECEMBER 16!:  Students must get the instrument they will use during the Rose Parade to the truck between 2:30pm and 5:30pm with the only exception being Freshman who need their instrument for the concert Tuesday night.  Leadership team members and some band parents will be available to help you get your instrument checked in.  There will be a special pick-up after the Freshman concert for Freshman who need their instruments for the concert.

Interested in Rose Parade Photos?  Photos of the band may be pre-ordered at 30% discount before or after Red, White, & Winds and Freshman Holiday Concerts.  Payment required at time of order placement by cash or check payable to Lakota West Upbeat Club only.  We must place one order paid with one check for all of Lakota West to get the discounted price.  CLICK HERE to see sample photos.  Photo choices are:

  • 12 x 18 photo of full band in front of the Rose Bowl Stadium for $25
  • 12 x 18 overview shot of band marching up Orange Grove towards television corner for $15
  • Both 12 x 18 photos above for $40
  • Action photos taken at Bandfest will be available online from Jolesch Enterprises after the event.

 

Thanks to everyone who volunteered for the Swing Dance Friday evening!  It was a great event with fabulous music.
