Please volunteer for the Uno’s Trucksgiving DoughRai$er on Sunday, November 8! We need help – we have 56 open volunteer slots – 16 open slots for students, 27 open slots for adults, and 13 slots that could be either students of adults. The DoughRaiser is less than a week away so please CLICK HERE to sign up. The event is a festive celebration of our band program at Uno’s Chicago Grill off Mulhauser Rd and Union Centre and features an All You Can Eat Buffet, performances by multiple Lakota West Band groups, facepainting, celebrity bartenders, and more! During the DoughRaiser, the Uno’s owners partner with our volunteers to run the restaurant for a day and share all the profits. All proceeds will go towards our new Tractor and Trailer and the external wrap of the trailer.
Thanks to everyone who is selling tickets to the November 8 Uno’s Trucksgiving DoughRai$er! Ticket proceeds may be turned in before or after the November 5 Marching Band Concert, and Upbeat volunteers will be at both freshman school during band and at Lakota West at the end of the school day this week to collect ticket proceeds. Please get your sold ticket proceeds in – it helps things go much more smoothly the day of the event!
The season is not completely over until the uniforms and their fashion accessories are cleaned and stored for the 2016 Marc2hing Firebirds! This is when we need YOU for assistance! We will make a big mess. organize, stash & store, and go! We could also use a few manly, men to help move and carry! Don’t let that male ego get in the way of uniform volunteering: we need lifters and carriers too!
