Hello Everyone!
Our annual Jazz ‘n Cakes pancake breakfast fundraising event is Saturday, April 6th from 8am-noon at Main Campus. This fun family event is one of the Upbeat Club’s largest fundraisers and supports the ENTIRE Lakota West Bands program including concert bands, jazz bands, marching band, and winter guard! The morning festivities feature performances by Jazz Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Jazz Lab, Freshman Jazz Band, and Ridge and Plains jazz bands all accompanied by a delicious, hot breakfast served to you by band students in the cafeteria. The event also includes an amazing basket raffle and incredible selections from vendors selling a variety of items on Main Street.
As this event approaches, there are THREE IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW & MULTIPLE WAYS TO GET INVOLVED!
Tickets
Tickets are $12 presale or $14 at the door (3 & under are free). Tickets can be purchased online HERE. Get your tickets soon, presale ends April 5th.
Each band family is encouraged to sell 4 or more tickets for this awesome event. If you are unable to attend this year, please consider a donation.
Since this is a fundraising event, anyone attending will need a ticket. Your performing jazz students will not require a ticket.
Raffle Baskets and Silent Auction Donations
Have you experienced the excitement of walking down Main Street past the amazing baskets and the unique Silent Auction items, crossing your fingers for what you might win?! Raffle Baskets and Silent Auction items are an important part of this fundraiser. Donations are needed to help make this event a great success! There are a variety of ways to donate, please consider the following:
- Would your family be willing to sponsor a basket for $100, $200, $300, or any amount, and our Jazz ‘n Cakes team will do the shopping for you, assemble the basket, and put your name on it?
- Every student is asked to donate a $5 or $10 gift card/item for the basket raffles. An equivalent donation with cash or check is also fine. Directors will collect donations through Wednesday, March 20th. Please send all donations BEFORE spring break! Follow the themes below to help ensure variety!
