Nominations were accepted last night for our 2024-25 Executive Board. We will be voting on those positions at our next meeting on April 25.

The nominations are:

President – Charity Feagley
VP Student Experiences – Katie Dixon
VP Events – Amy Pitzer
VP Communications – Kristin Bramblett
Treasurer – Jenni Kershaw
Secretary – Stacy Loberg

Our April & May meetings have been rescheduled due to band conflicts. April 25 and May 23 are the new dates, the calendar has been updated accordingly.

In addition to the executive positions, we have several open lead positions. HELP US BUILD OUR BAND FAMILY! Reach out to president@lakotawestbands.org for a list of available positions, to express interest or to find out how to get connected in any of the areas. Just some of the areas which could use you are Communications, Photography, Trips, Swing Dance, Tag Day, Try Band, the Lakota West Invitational and Winter Guard Competition, help on football Fridays with organizing the potluck dinners for volunteers or doing split the pot and more. Grab a friend and try any of these together. We’re also looking for shadows for a lot of our positions which will be filled by senior parents, what better way to learn the ropes than by someone who is currently doing it? We would love to chat more with you so reach out or share names of someone whom you think might be a good fit.

CONGRATULATIONS to our Winter Guard teams thus far in their seasons! They have been performing phenomenally well and their outcomes are proving it! Our Varsity team is ranked 29th in the COUNTRY! Our JV team has been performing SO well, placing 1st and scoring out of their class. INCREDIBLE JOB!!!

The Lakota West Bands photography team is looking to expand! Do you dabble in photography? All are welcome to join the team.
