News
- We are in need of carpool drivers for 2/22 transporting students from Creekside to Campbell County High School. We still have 7 JV members to fit in a vehicle (Varsity has enough drivers).
- Schedules & logistics for Campbell County will come out soon, the current performance times are:
- JV 12:55pm; awards 3:44pm
- Varsity 6:12pm; awards 8:47pm
- TMA finalizes the schedule the weekend before when registration closes, times are subject to shift but shouldn’t be drastically different.
- JV no longer rehearses on Thursdays, Fridays only with Saturday 2/15 from 9-1pm.
- Reminder to sign the commitment form if your student is interested in doing guard in the fall with marching band. Links are found at the bottom of this email.

Shake Shack at Liberty Center will donate 25% of your total to our band program when you dine there on Monday 2/10, Tuesday 2/11, &/or Wednesday 2/12.

Jazz ‘N Cakes
OPEN ROLES for the Jazz ‘n Cakes planning committee
Several roles will be vacant next year, if you are interested in joining the committee please email pancake@lakotawestbands.org.
- Kitchen
- Order and pickup food prior to event
- Help with kitchen organization day of the event
- Looking for shadow for additional kitchen role vacancy next year
- Donations
- Help pickup secured donations
- Assist with securing donations from area organizations
- Shadow for this role for vacancy next year
- Dining Room
- Shadow requested for vacancy next year
- This role helps coordinate between the host stand and the dining room, keeps the flow organized
- Additional Roles
- Several roles will be vacant next year, if you are interested in joining the committee please email pancake@lakotawestbands.org.
- Our next planning meeting will be February 10.
If you have any items you’re willing to donate to add to Jazz ‘n Cakes baskets, please let us know. We’ll be happy to collect and use towards our fundraiser. We’re always looking for baskets and basket filler as well.
