For the Calendar:
Monday, February 1 – Solo & Ensemble Recital for all ensembles – starting at 6:30pm. Students have already received assigned times.
Saturday, February 6 – Solo & Ensemble at Lakota West. Students have their performance times.
Tuesday, February 16 – February Upbeat Club meeting, 7:30pm
Congratulations to all of our students in All State Band, All State Orchestra, and All State Jazz! There were some great performances this last weekend!
Solo and Ensemble is coming up this weekend on Saturday, February 6! We REALLY need more volunteers. Students do all have their performance times. Please CLICK HERE to sign up on the sign-up genius and support our students. Having the “outside the room” monitor to help students know if the performance room is running ahead, behind or on-time and the “in-room assistant” to announce the student’s name and performance selection helps support our students and helps the judges give the students maximum attention. Please volunteer for a 2-1/2 hour time slot during Solo and Ensemble. We have over 800 events in 18 performance rooms to support! Service hours are available for students at the office on completion of their shift.
Like to make a difference? Upbeat Club nominations for next year’s officers will open at our March meeting! If you’re interested and would like to know more, contact one of the existing officers with any questions you have! Both our President and Treasurer will “senior out” at the end of this year.
