Marching Band Trips

CHAPERONES NEEDED Please fill out THIS FORM if you are interested in Chaperoning one or both of our trips this year.

The Marching Firebirds are taking two mandatory trips this year for BOA competitions (Johnson City, TN and St. Louis, MO) at an approximate total cost per student of $1099, this information was shared in the commitment form signed by all families in February. A $300 deposit is due August 21 with the second and final payment due September 25. Funds raised from the Calendar Raffle will be split evenly amongst all marching band/color guard students to help offset the trip costs.

Upbeat Club sets aside some money each year for the Angel Fund Scholarship(s) which supplements mandatory trip fees for students needing financial assistance. LWMB families looking for assistance with the 2024 mandatory trip fees as described above are encouraged to apply for consideration. This scholarship opportunity is for students in grades 9-12. Families interested in being considered for the Angel Fund Scholarship should submit a completed application to the Upbeat Club President by email at the address: president@lakotawestbands.org, you can also reach out to Mr. Carr at Andrew.Carr@lakotaonline.com.

A limited number of scholarships are available and due by September 6Click here for application.
