1. Congrats to the Grand Champions at Hamilton! A superior performance and wonderful evening.
2. Thanks to all that helped make our mattress sale break a new record for Lakota West. 50 matresses were sold on Saturday!
3. Fall Concert on October 15 with special guest the Capital University Symphonic Winds. Composers Barry Kopetz and James Swearingen will also guest conduct their compositions.
4. Thanks to all for the well wishes upon the news leaking out about the 2015 Rose Parade. My intent was to announce this at the football game on September 27. We needed board approval to accept the bid and it was placed on the board agenda(thus making the secret news public) The Enquirer got hold of this and spilled the beans!! More details will be out in the coming months.
5. The Marching Firebirds depart for Macy’s in 2 months!!!!! Please get all payments up to date and prepare for a fantastic week in New York City. The special routine and music for the parade are coming along nicely!!
