Lakota West Spring Concert: The Spring Concert will take place on Monday, May 19, 2014 in the Lakota West Main Campus Auditorium at 7:00pm. There will ONLY be performances by the Red and White Symphonic bands.
Symphonic Winds will perform on Thursday the 22nd at the beginning of Band Awards Night in the Lakota West Main Campus Auditorium.
West Chester Memorial Day Parade: The Lakota West Marching Firebirds will be performing in the West Chester Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 26, 2014. The building will be open from 9:00-9:30am on Monday, May 26, 2014. Students should report to the backside of the old Union Elementary School across from the West Chester Post Office by 9:35am. We are wearing summer uniforms, Red Polo and Khaki shorts, white socks and shoes that are as white as they can be with as little color as possible. We will march down the hill to the cemetery and be a part of the Memorial Day ceremonies. After that, we will dismiss and head home. The band room will be open to return silvers and drums until about 12:30pm.
