Band Announcements:
1. What a terrific week-end at OSU. Huge crowd, great bands, and lots of fun. We were the highest scoring band at the invitational!!!
2. Fall Band Concert tonight!!! 7:00 with Red, White, and Winds. Students report at 6:30 in full uniform.
3. Marching Band News:
A. Homecoming week!!! No sectionals on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday after school this week. Report time on Friday is 4:30 to rehearse with Alumni, then dinner provided at school, followed by game. We will march out at 6:35 for Homecoming Parade in Stadium. Regular Pre-Game with Homecoming Court presentation in the middle. Alumni with us for first part of half-time followed by the entire Competition Show. (We get all 20 minutes at half-time!!!)
B. Next week the Springfield Shawnee Competition. Monday rehearsal after school due to soccer game in stadium. Freshman Concert on Tuesday(no sectionals), regular rehearsals Wednesday and Thursday. No Friday game or rehearsal (Haunted School !!!) Performance time at Shawnee is 6:30. (Saturday schedule to follow!)
C. State Contest time is 8:30 on November 1.
