For the calendar:
- Monday, November 3: Marching Band Rehearsal. We have confirmed with directors that there IS rehearsal Monday, November 3, 3-5pm at Lakota West.
- Thursday, November 6: Marching Band Concert at LW Gym & 50/50 Raffle 2nd Early Bird drawing – so get your tickets in!
- Saturday, November 15: Rose Parade Trip 5th Student Payment due (land & air students) through EZ Pay or to Lakota West Bursar.
- Saturday, November 15: Trivia Night! Lakota West Café (See Information Below)
- Tuesday, November 18: November Upbeat Club Meeting – 7:30pm
- Wednesday, November 19: East & West Fall Jazz Concert – East Main Campus Theater
Marching Band Concert on Thursday – Spirit wear can be ordered, spirit wear orders picked up and 50-50 Raffle tickets turned in/purchased. Please see the tables on Main Street near the gym entrances!
Skyline for students at 6pm on Thursday, November 6 prior to the Marching Band Concert. 6 parents needed to help pour drinks, etc at 5:30pm. Please contact Jill Trygier at president@lakotawestbands.org if you are interested in helping!
Trivia Night: The first annual Lakota West Marching Firebirds Trivia Night will be held on Saturday, November 15. Doors will open at 5:00pm and trivia competition will begin promptly at 6:00pm. Public attendance is welcome. Advanced reservations and payment are required. The cost of each individual ticket is $15, with table reservations being held for groups of 4, 6, 8, or 10. A portion of each ticket sold will go to the winning pot, which will be used as a cash prize for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams. CLICK HERE for more information and link to registration form. Deadline for registration is November 13, but early registration is recommended!!
50/50 Raffle: Parents: You can turn in sold tickets/money and/or pick up more tickets to sell for the 50/50 Raffle at end of practice on Monday (11/3) or Wednesday (11/5) between 4:45 PM – 5:15 PM. Leslie Twardowski or Katie Klopfenstein will meet you by the shelter by the band room. The last early bird drawing is Thursday, November 6th. Another $250 prize will be awarded! To be eligible for the drawing all entries must be turned in by noon on Thursday, November 6th. Please contact raffle@lakotawestbands.org if you need to make other arrangements.
