Rookie Marcher Day

A Few Details on Rookie Marcher Day.  As your band director has been telling you in class, Rookie Marcher Day is Thursday, May 28th from 2:00-4:00pm.  We will start the practice at 2:00, so be early!  This is the last day of school and all schools are released early enough to accommodate that start time.  The rehearsal is at Lakota West starting in the band room.  Primarily this rehearsal is to introduce rookies to the leadership team and to give them a head start on marching technique.  Only Leadership Team and Rookies should attend this rehearsal.
From 3:30-4:00pm in the Lakota West Theater there is a parent informational meeting for rookie parents.  We will just go over some of the expectations for the students and give rookie parents an introduction to the Lakota West Upbeat Club.   At 4:00pm students and parents will be finished and ready to start their summer!

A Taste for Music – Chipotle

Make dinner a selfless act by joining us for a fundraiser to support Lakota West Upbeat Club. Come into the Chipotle located at 9324 Union Centre Blvd on Thursday, May 28th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Bring in this flyer, show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you’re supporting the cause to make sure that 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Lakota West Upbeat Club.

Finish Registering for 2015 Marching Band

CLICK HERE to find the information on how to logon to Charms to finish the marching band registration.  It is important that every member logon and update all information, download sign and return the EMA, Release of Liability forms, and find where to download their music.  The step by step instructions should help you through that process.
