Marching Band Mini Camp

PARENT PERFORMANCE | Saturday 5/27 | 8pm | West Freshman Gym
- Dinner – Dinner will be provided to the students on Saturday and they should either bring their dinner with them Thursday and Friday or arrange to have dinner dropped off to them. They are not permitted to leave the premises. Dinner break is at 5:00.
- If dropping dinner off to your student(s), the SAFEST way is to park your car in a designated parking spot and walk into the building OR tell them where you are parked. Please avoid pulling up to the door and waiting as that can cause unsafe conditions for our students returning to the building from the field.
- Please refer to THIS LIST for a complete list of items students should be bringing with them to every practice.
We also hope you will plan on joining us on Saturday evening before the parent performance for a casual get together. A chance to meet other families in your child’s section, a chance to get questions answered, and so much more! We’ll wrap it up and move inside the gym for the performance. You’ll be blown away by what they have learned in 3 days!

Tech Team – Our tech team is responsible for producing the livestreams and videos on YouTube. If you’re interested in joining the team, reach out to web@lakotawestbands.org
We’re looking for some event leads for the following positions: Jazz ‘N Cakes, Mattress Sale, Swing Dance and Try Band. If you’d like more information, please reach out to president@lakotawestbands.org.
We’re also looking to build the committees for Jazz ‘N Cakes and the inaugural LW Invitational (the Marching Band competition hosted by/at West). If you’d like further information on either of these committees, you can also reach out to president@lakotawestbands.org.
