Guard News
- New This Season, Winter Guard Teams will be paying a portion of the uniform costs.
- This season Varsity will be $100 and JV will be $50.
- These payments will be organized through the Upbeat Club and more information on this will come out soon.

JV Only Updates-
- All JV members will need to purchase a rifle. This will be a bulk order through Upbeat, more details will come out soon.
- it will be $60 per member.
- Rehearsal on 12/12 will be our first staging day with our designer.
- Students should wear all black and we need their attendance.
- Rehearsal on 12/6 is officially cancelled, there is no rescheduled date.
- Rehearsal on 12/13 *MIGHT* be rescheduled due to the Plain’s dance. We will update if we get a new date to replace this rehearsal.

We are looking for Guard parents’ involvement in Upbeat Club, especially to assist with Guard events and the upcoming competition. Please reach out to President@lakotawestbands.org if you’d like to help plan the competition. Volunteer information will be sent soon.
Calendar Fundraiser
Our Guard Calendar Fundraiser is off to GREAT start! Help us offset our season’s costs by sponsoring a day. Select any available day on the calendar and pay that amount. There’s also an option to donate any amount. We appreciate your support!!

2025-26 Season:
We will be losing quite a few senior parents at the end of this school year opening up several lead positions as well as executive positions. If you are interested in learning how you can be more involved with the Upbeat Club, reach out to lwupbeat@gmail.com or president@lakotawestbands.org.
We will need help with communications, band camp, bus chaperones, photographers and more.
All volunteer positions come with the full support of the exec board and the person currently filling the role.
