We are looking for Guard parents’ involvement in Upbeat Club, especially to assist with Guard events and the upcoming competition. Please reach out to President@lakotawestbands.org if you’d like to help plan the competition. Volunteer information will be sent soon.
Calendar Fundraiser
It’s back! Our Guard Calendar Fundraiser. Help us offset our season’s costs by sponsoring a day. Select any available day on the calendar and pay that amount.
Swing Dance
Our Community Swing Dance is scheduled for Friday, December 6.

We’ll need a lot of VOLUNTEERS and FOOD DONATIONS.
Consider joining and/or helping us, it’s a very fun evening regardless of if you have a student in Jazz Band.
All activities are in the cafeteria so you will be able to see your student perform.
Looking for help decorating on Thursday & Friday from someone who has done it before. Please consider assisting the new team of volunteers.
Marching Band
Parents AND Students: Please fill out the ‘End of Year Survey’ for our Directors so they can plan the next season based on what the group wants.
The survey will be open until December 1st.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
2025-26 Season:
We will be losing quite a few senior parents at the end of this school year opening up several lead positions as well as executive positions. If you are interested in learning how you can be more involved with the Upbeat Club, reach out to lwupbeat@gmail.com or president@lakotawestbands.org.
We will need help with communications, band camp, bus chaperones, photographers and more.
All volunteer positions come with the full support of the exec board and the person currently filling the role.
