Congratulations Lakota West Highschool Marching Band!.
Our students gave it their all at the BOA Grand Nationals-our final competition of the season! After performing alongside 108 incredibly talented bands, we’re proud to share that 36 advanced to the semifinals, and we secured the 37th spot with a score of 82.03.
That’s how we close out the season! What an amazing journey. We couldn’t be prouder of this talented band. The results speak for themselves, but the true victory lies in the experience and growth along the way. Way to go, Lakota West!

Lakota West Marching Bands – Concert & Awards
What an incredible end to an unforgettable marching band season! From the first practice to Wednesday’s final concert, this journey has been amazing. A huge THANK YOU to our phenomenal directors & staff for their vision and patience, our dedicated students for their passion and perseverance, and our amazing parents and volunteers for being the backbone of our program. We truly won this season together. Congratulations to all, especially our wonderful seniors! We are so proud of the memories we’ve created together this year.
Here’s to the music, the friendships, and the journey that will stay with us forever. We can’t wait to see what next year brings.

Jazz N’ Cakes Raffle Basket Donation Coordinator Needed
Help our band program hit all the right notes! Jazz ‘n Cake is one of our largest fundraisers and takes place in April. We’re looking for a friendly volunteer to connect with local businesses, families, and community members to gather exciting donations – like gift cards, treats, and experiences-for our raffle baskets.
What You’ll Need:
- A warm, outgoing attitude
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- A passion for supporting our band program
Time Commitment: Flexible – just a few hours here and there in the weeks leading up to the fundraiser.
