An email was sent on Tuesday, May 20th, by Colin Celek with the subject line “Memorial Day and Mini Camp Info” through FinalForms. If you did not receive it, please reach out to Mr. Celek at colin.celek@lakotaonline.com. He shared a link to a document that will be updated throughout the season with important details regarding schedules and other information from the Directors. Be sure to bookmark that link and refer to it regularly throughout the season.
Marching Band Mini Camp
We are excited to kick off our 2025-2026 Marching Band Season!

Final forms registration and signatures need to be completed before students arrive for practice. With lots of potential heat and students not yet acclimated we want to make sure we have the proper documentation if needed. Be sure to select Lakota West Marching Band as your sport. For final forms we are considered a sport. You do not need to have a physical. Just fill out the necessary paperwork.
The name of our group is WH 2025-26 Fall Coed Band.
**This will not be available until after May 23rd since Final Forms has not rolled over to the 25-26 school year.
New to 2025-2026 Season:
Drill is now Digital!! We are using the UDB App and students in both bands will need a phone or a tablet to access their drill. The UDB app is Android & iPhone compatible. If you have any unused devices lying around, please consider donating them to the band. Apple devices from 2017 or newer, or Android devices running at least version 7.1, as long as they can hold a charge for four hours. Even if the screen has a few cracks, they’re still usable!
If anyone has an unused phone to donate, they should factory reset it before handing it in. No need for a cell connection, since the devices will only be using WiFi. We will collect them on Friday before/after the community performance.

Congratulations to Class of 2025!
The Parade of Graduates has become a cherished tradition for Lakota staff, students, parents, and community members. Congratulations to all Lakota West seniors who proudly paraded through the hallways of their elementary schools last Monday, and best wishes as you celebrate your graduation this Friday!
To our incredible band seniors – thank you for your dedication, hard work, and the countless contributions you’ve made to our band. We deeply appreciate your leadership and the positive impact you’ve had on all of us. Wishing you the very best in your next adventures!
