Lakota West Bands – Open Lead Volunteer Positions

We are looking to fill a few open lead positions for our 2026 band season. If you’d like to join our fun and energetic team, please review the open positions below and let us know you’re joining, or reach out to president@lakotawestbands.org if you have any questions. No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm.
Sponsorship Lead
Our band is seeking a Sponsorship Lead volunteer to help secure the resources our amazing kids deserve. The band sponsorship lead volunteer is primarily responsible for coordinating efforts to secure sponsorships and donations from local businesses.
Summer Band Camp Co-Lead.
We already have a dedicated band mom with several years of experience leading this role. We’re seeking a passionate volunteer co-lead to support her with organization, logistics, and creating a successful experience for our hardworking student musicians during summer marching band camp.
Competitive Band Uniform Lead
We are looking for a couple of well?organized individuals to coordinate our Competitive Marching Band Uniform team. We already have a great group in place—we’re just looking for someone (or a pair of volunteers) to take the lead.
Split the pot
If you have a fun personality, this position is for you! We need someone to take the lead on organizing “Split the Pot” at several fundraising events. Every hour helps, and your contribution is invaluable.

The success of this show relies heavily on volunteers. We have multiple opportunities for both students and adults to volunteer. If you know a student who needs volunteer hours for school, the upbeat club is happy to sign-off for them when their shift is complete.
