Due to the Freshman concerts (Tuesday 10/16 at 7pm in the Freshman Auditorium) we have a conflict with the October Upbeat Club meeting that affects both directors and 4 of 5 execs. This gives us a wonderful opportunity to change our venue and engage a captive/captivated audience! Therefore the next meeting of the Lakota West Upbeat Club will be October 16th at ~8:15pm in the Lakota West Freshman Auditorium right after the concerts conclude (exec session to follow the open session). We meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month. We are a parent volunteer group that supports all band activities. If you have a student in any band, grades 7-12, you are a member. Come to the meeting and learn more about what we do and how to get more involved. Next month we’ll be back to our normal place (West HS band room) and time (7:30pm).
