Band Announcements:
1. Another Spectacular week-end. Congrats to our Seniors and their wonderful parents!!(we all stayed dry) Grand Champ performance at Kettering!!!
2. Fall Concert next Tuesday, October 14 at 7:00. All band students report at 6:30 in full uniform. ($12 for tie and cummerbund on Friday during band time if still needed, can exchange for proper color if necessary)
3. Marching Band news:
A. Regular rehearsals(Thursday at Main Stadium) and Friday from 3:00 till 5:30 in Stadium.
B. Rose Parent meeting on Thursday at 7:30 in auditorium, if it rains band will be in auditorium and meeting in Cafeteria.
C. Saturday at OSU schedule: Report at 3:00(parking lot, no instruments)If it rains on Thursday and Friday will may need to meet at 1:00. Depart 3:45, 6:00 arrive at the OSU Stadium and get dinner and watch a few bands, 7:30 be ready for warm-up, 8:45 performance, 9:30 Buckeye Band performance, 10:00 Awards, arrive back to Lakota West around 12:45.
D. Homecoming week: Rehearsal on Oct. 13 even though no school that day. No sectionals on the 14th.(Fall Concert)
E. Springfield Shawnee performance time on October 25 is 7:00. State Performance time on Nov. 1 is 8:30.
