The Lakota West Band program serves the music education needs of over 300 band and guard students at Lakota West High School. The goal of Lakota West Bands is to develop a student’s life long love of music and to expand the student’s musical education through its Symphonic Winds, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Jazz Ensembles, Marching Band, and Colorguard programs. These programs not only help to develop a student’s musical interest, but also help the student learn valuable life lessons such as teamwork, discipline, creativity and a commitment to excellence.
Every time they take the field for competition, perform in concert and march in a parade, Lakota West Bands proudly represent West Chester and Liberty Townships and the Lakota school district. Sponsoring the band program is a great way to support our students as well as our local community.
Each and every donation to the Lakota West Upbeat Club directly impacts the programs that are offered to Lakota West High School band students. Donations to the Lakota West Upbeat Club, a 501c3 organization, are tax deductible.
